Works very quickly on ovens and toasters

Love it. Do not increase the flame too high. It is enough that the screen below glows red. SEE Bread. It goes from white to dark in about 5-10 seconds, so be prepared to flip it. doing a good job Used on a recent van trip as a friend wanted toast for breakfast and I didn't bring her a toaster. Very compact and light. Brother is now taking him for a ride in his RV.

Buy it! There's toast!

Does anyone need to fry something when camping? Usually not, but if you want to take bread with you, then this toaster is for you! It takes up little space, works quickly, so this thing is even suitable for car camping. Is it possible to do 4 pieces at the same time? No, but you can probably make 4 slices of toast at the same time the other style ASAP, but this thing works better and works on a small camp stove. It makes excellent toast or bagels.

Space saving, easy to use once you get the hang of it

Our toaster broke and it was a blessing in disguise, freeing up much-needed counter space in our tiny kitchen. But I love toast in the morning. So I took the opportunity to buy this camping toaster and it turned out great. It's easy to use, although it takes a few tries to determine the height of the flame and its position on the stove burner (the photo is one of my first attempts). I like that it can be easily washed and stored in a drawer. The only thing I don't like about it is that it feels

Brilliant! It's ridiculously simple and works really fast

Awesome! It's ridiculously easy and works really quickly, a minute or two per slice. I live in a small apartment and have a tiny kitchen with no room for a toaster, but I have a gas range and this thing is amazing. Much better, quicker and cheaper than using a frying pan, plus you can lift the toast to the top underneath to see if it's done. At $9 if it lasts a year or two it's worth the price but no movement. parts, it will probably take a lot longer. Run under a tap to clean, but check the…

An indispensable thing in the galley on your boat.

I have a two burner propane stove in the galley on my sailboat. This little toaster is the latest addition and perfect. It folds flat and takes up very little space. The bottom of the toaster is covered with a thin metal shield that dissipates the direct heat of the propane flame. The bread is actually toasted by the heat of a metal sieve that glows red. The toaster holds 1 slice at a time, no more and no less. The folding handle does not heat up and allows you to easily move the toaster. Of…

The best toast ever! in the kitchen and dining room

On my wish list for about 4 years. I thought it was a good but not necessary gadget for camping but not for home use. I was wrong. Today I took it out of the box and found that it comes in a nice fabric case. Pleasantly surprised by this and the quality. Good start. I twisted the handle back, it took shape and I placed it on the butane stove. Light up and voila! the web at the bottom began to glow bright orange. Oooh, it's beautiful. I smashed in a slice of bread and in about 12 seconds I had…

Make Great Toast is the best in kitchen and dining

Make Great Toast. I bought this to make toast in my trailer which normally runs on batteries charged by solar panels so I can avoid high drain electrical appliances. I bake bread from grain that I have ground myself and I really like it when it is toasted. I have fried bread that requires very little oil to fry and differs in flavor or texture. This little stovetop toaster makes great toasts and brings out the nutty flavor of the beans even better than a toaster or toaster oven. made an oven at

Big Little Camping Toaster

I saw that this product had a high rating in the Boat Galley newsletter. There he received a positive response, which I fully agree with. This toaster takes up little space and works very well. I use it on a gas stove that burns a lot so it was pretty low. A stovetop diffuser (which we have but haven't used with a toaster yet) can give a softer result. We're still learning how to use the toaster properly, so far either a slightly burned slice (our fault, not the toaster's) or a nicely browned…

I use it every morning for life on wheels!

I use it every morning to make my toast. If you live in an RV, a toaster on the counter is very inconvenient as it would take up almost all of the counter space. I was hoping this would work on my gas range. And so it is! With some restrictions. 1) I had to buy a separate diffuser before I could get good toast. I have a HIC heat diffuser and it works fine, but I think that ripped my stove top grill so it might be something else to think about. Without them, my toast was either burnt or just…
