Review on GSI Outdoors Glacier Stainless Toaster by Erin Renee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

An indispensable thing in the galley on your boat.

I have a two burner propane stove in the galley on my sailboat. This little toaster is the latest addition and perfect. It folds flat and takes up very little space. The bottom of the toaster is covered with a thin metal shield that dissipates the direct heat of the propane flame. The bread is actually toasted by the heat of a metal sieve that glows red. The toaster holds 1 slice at a time, no more and no less. The folding handle does not heat up and allows you to easily move the toaster. Of course you have to turn the slice of bread, but that doesn't take long. I tried it for the first time the other day and it worked very well. I love the smell of toast in the morning :) The edge of the metal grill on the toaster has sharp edges that can snag on objects so I make sure to put it back in the little cloth pouch that comes with it to prevent it tear.
