Documentation was very sketchy. A full-time electrician wouldn't need documentation, but a homeowner like me was a little in the dark as a first-time user. The answers are difficult to calculate. I was trying to see if half of a discarded dual 240 volt switch was still hot. It looks solidly built. It will let you know if there is SOME electrical activity nearby. You must learn to interpret results in a nuanced way.
