With so much more time at home in meetings these days, I'm tired of wearing headphones all the time. It's a handy device that only needs a USB-A or USB-C port, depending on the model - no extra power plug required. With Plantronics driver software, control and automation is available on the Mac (and I'm guessing Windows) desktop. On the unit itself there is a mute button and an LED ring that lights up brightly when the sound is muted. I've seen some comments about the difficulty in adjusting the volume. This thing tends to be loud and seems to automatically adjust the volume according to the volume setting on the computer. Therefore, as a device designed for voice calls, it is not very useful as a music speaker but makes most voice calls very clear. The best way to adjust the volume is with the volume button on the device itself, not in the software. I don't see this as a disadvantage as this is not a musical instrument but a means of communication.
