Review on πŸŒ€ Rowenta VU5670 Turbo Silence Oscillating Fan: Powerful 5 Speed Fan with Remote Control & Stand by Kay Daniels

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Damn good job - heating, cooling and air quality

Twice as expensive as other adequate pedestal fans, it's easy to wonder if the extra cost is worth it. my opinion yes Overall, it's larger than other non-commercial 16-inch models. The weighted wide base easily counters the heavy specifications of these fans. The adjustable foot is not weak and easy to control. The unusual angle that allows easy access to the control buttons is just great - it's very convenient to use. Although I don't use the remote control, I can see that it can be very handy for some. The fact that it's stored on the fan itself is a nice touch. The manufacturer's information on the Revain fan page is largely correct - it's quieter than expected, moves large amounts of air effortlessly and looks classy. So what's its downside? Some buyers report that the grille is rusting. I've only had mine for about a month, but I don't see anything that would make it susceptible to corrosion. Only the price remains, is it justified? There are cheaper alternatives that are undoubtedly sufficient. The fan that was replaced was much cheaper but lasted at least 10 years. But for me - again just an opinion - the additional effort is justified for the reasons described above. Three plus years and verification is confirmed. I opened the grille to clean it and the fan blade. Some reviews complained about grill corrosion, so I took a closer look at both halves of the grill. Nothing but chrome shine - it looked exactly the same as the day I unpacked it. Perhaps others were confused by the static dust that collects on fan parts, or perhaps poor quality grill housings were being sold. But after three years of intensive use, my device works perfectly.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • There are flaws
