The instructions are not relevant.

I read the entire manual before starting. The fender does not mount as instructed in the manual - it does not turn like a bowl. It has four plastic guards that slide over the body. The bowl needs constant cleaning. If you add flour, make sure it's at 1 or 2 and not 3 until damp, or you'll have a dust storm even with the spray cap on. Be sure to use the whisk and on low setting 1 or 2, not 3, or the mixture will run out the edges of the splash guard cap. I love the color though. Beautiful red colour.
