I'm a terrible grinder. The dentist said I had to buy a $3,000 mouthguard. I didn't have that much money so I bought this set of two pairs of guards. I chose the thicker set because the clenching and grinding had severely damaged my teeth and I needed maximum protection. Although the instructions said the thicker kit didn't need to be installed, I chose to size it using the method given for the thinner kit. It fits perfectly and I've been using it for three nights now and I can already feel the difference in my TMJ. I recommend anyone who has problems with teeth grinding to get this asap to avoid the damage to teeth and TMJ that I am having. I only wish I had bought this sooner. The price is unbeatable and the product does what it promises.
