I cheated and went to the best shopping to see all the models they have. I've listened to several, this one has a much better sound for the price. The bass in particular is good here. With other devices, there were crackles or the housing vibrated, which is not a clue. It's solid. It's also a good weight so when listening the whole device sits steady and not because the device is moving along the counter. The remote control is ok but I keep forgetting it there too. I wouldn't mind having two of these now that this is my favorite model. I went for it once even though I came home to shop online and found one for over $50 less than they wanted in the store. CONS: The PSU is just that. Brick. It's big and I keep trying to hide it behind the block or extend the cord and run it along the back of the bookshelf? Anyway, none of the solutions are great. It's even weirder because there's a piece of wire from the device to the brick, and then another piece from the brick to the wall. So it sucks right down the middle due to some clunky buildup coming off the device.
