I have 2 sticks of 16GB DDR4 4000Mhz on a new system, ASUS TUF games x570 Pro with Ryzen 5 5600x and full speed RAM with timings shown even though I go into BIOS and had to set it to run DOCP, before it was at 1.40v but at reduced speed. I haven't tried tightening the timings or overclocking, but I'll add that when I get around to trying it. I will say that most people don't need more than 16GB, especially for gaming, you need a quick small amount, I do video editing and I've seen them only fill 76% when creating a 4K file. I see people trying to rank and get Samsung B-Die chips and it really doesn't matter, the things you see in YouTube reviews are usually just tests and not actual experiences. I've seen LTT and JayzTwoCents have side-by-side setups, and even the people who run those systems have trouble distinguishing between RAM types, ranks, and speeds, but the RAM's drop to 8GB was apparently. So take them at 4000mhz, they are very fast, it will be interesting to see if I can speed them up a bit, but I don't see the point given how fast they are now.
