No durability, not worth the deal

Originally this mirror was fantastic. This allowed me to see those horrible little hairs under the chin that seem to become a part of life after 40. After about three months, however, I noticed that the charging port was becoming weaker and the mirror was no longer holding a charge. than a day or so (even if you only use 20 minutes each morning). I've had the mirror since September 2020 and as of yesterday (May 2020) the mirror is officially dead. It won't even blink frantically to let me know it's at least trying to charge. Less than 8 months old and he goes in the bin. For use: The mirror has been in the same place on my dressing table since I bought it. I just used the charging cable that came with the mirror. He did not travel and was not abused. It was used less than 20 minutes each day and always turned itself off when it was done. The charging connector on the side of the mirror is so loose that it spins like a car ignition. When charging, the green-red charge indicator flickers convulsively like an epileptic at a Laser Floyd concert (not for epileptics, but honestly you probably shouldn't buy this thing). At first I thought I had a killer deal. (Lightening the deal) but this thing didn't even live a year.
