Review on Streak-Free Granite Stone Clean, Polish and Protect - 24 Ounce - pH Neutral Formula for Daily Use on Interior and Exterior Natural Stone Surfaces by Gary Beard

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Fully washable with a damp cloth.

At first I thought it was like car wax. Spray on, rub in circular motions, wait for it to dry, then buff. nope It's actually an oily spray that never dries up. It leaves a wet, oily sheen that can be wiped off with a finger and leaves fingerprints. When you polish it, you're basically wiping away the "grease". After that you have a nice shiny counter that looks amazing until you rub something on the counter and the glitter is completely gone. Here's what I did: I sprayed and rubbed a test circle, I was happy with the result. I put some water on it to see how it shines. Everything was good. Then I wiped the water off with a towel and it left a bare streak all over my circle. It's very easy to use, but it takes a bit of time because you really need to polish so as not to leave a greasy mess on your work surfaces. Revain's description (but NOT on the bottle) says 'daily use'. This is true because this stuff disappears every time you clean the counter. I had to use it 2-3 times a day. FYI I have 2 types of black granite on my counters and island. I have sometimes sealed with a leading brand. I would return the Weiman polish but it's cumbersome. Guess I save it for special occasions. My counters will look good for a while longer and I have to put up with the fact that the shine and luster fades away once I clean the counters.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
