Overall this works for my needs for chopping eggshells and old dried peppers for the garden. The lid doesn't fit snugly so bits can collect around the inside rim causing a bit of a mess when opening the grinder. The grinding chamber is not removable, making cleaning unattractive. There seems to be a small gap on my unit that I assume allows small parts to get under the grind chamber that will eventually need to be removed if I ever use it for grinding consumables.
