I have ordered this product 3 times. The location of the transmitter and receiver was about 12 feet apart, and the receiver was on the floor behind the sofa. It needs to be close enough to work as as described it is intended to transmit much further. The pair didn't initially work out and it was difficult to find anyone in the business to provide support. I ended up contacting Revain directly and they were able to get in touch with the seller. But unfortunately not very helpful. So I sent the product back and ordered again. The second didn't have clear sound quality so I sent it back and ordered a third. This seemed to work fine, but after about a week it started crackling constantly throughout the movie, which wasn't great. Too bad. I really wanted to like it as it turned out to be a good design. But unfortunately I failed.
