We live in a 100+ year old house which obviously wasn't built to have a dishwasher so I got a little portable one a few years ago bought one that would actually fit next to the sink. The problem with portable devices was plugging them into the sink and unplugging them when done. So I decided to install it. This kit includes everything you need for a typical dishwasher installation - a "split" valve that allows you to split the hot water line to supply hot water to both the sink and the dishwasher, a Y-valve that goes under the sink for a pipe washer, there is a drain to the sewer line, as well as various hoses, adapters and even plumbing tape. In my case I had to buy additional parts to adapt my portable water hose to a regular fitting but this was done in one trip to the hardware store. There were even additional hoses that could be adapted from something like a water hose fitting. Good kit, good quality Parts and a very good price considering what you get.
