There is a hole for the shower and for the hose, so the hose for the shower stall needs to be covered
The valve is very easy to insert. I had to close the supply from the bathroom and tie the shower head. Valve also dismantled to avoid overheating. Copper and brass cleaned, everything flowed perfectly. I like the deep and shallow furrow that allows for a stone wall and tile vent.
