Good for the money, make sure you use soundproofing.

They have GREAT sound but if you just plug and connect them with store bought speaker adapters they won't work in every car. I'm a Mitsubishi technician so I used them as a test to see if they were a suitable replacement for the following vehicles: 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander (Full Size) Tested on all 3 vehicles , Sport does not require assistance. sound pretty good apart from adjusting the crossover. However, on the Eclipse Cross, the midrange sounded very poorly in the doors (like the base model speakers do in those cars) and it was a terrible experience. The full-size Outlander wasn't bad, but overall not very good. I had several cases of the new 3 layer soundproofing that I was trying out, the NVX SDRF20. It's the same as using Noico + 150 mil foam it can be used with, except it's all one piece, you don't have to do the layers yourself, it also costs the same if you get both in the same quantities to buy. The interior panels were soundproofed with a coated door and oh my god that made a difference - there was no more bad midrange resonance and the bass response was much better and tighter. They sound great with a little help. I also added some Stinger Roadkill RKFR6 speaker rings with extra baffles behind them to make sure everything is in order! After all, speakers are good when the car they get in is good too. When installing speakers in a vehicle, take the time to get it right and add all the other elements as well so you don't have to worry about them falling short of your expectations. Plus, you get all the other added benefits if you get it right, like adding insulation and reducing street noise with soundproofing. Do it right, do it once.
