The kids and I played with this all day and at the end of the day the darts wouldn't stick to the board - no matter how good the throw was. The electronic scoreboard registers the shot, but the darts don't get stuck in the board. If you think that because these darts are made of plastic, they are safer for your wall and your children, then they are not. They still stick to drywall and cause damage. If they do, you might as well get a legitimate adjustable dartboard with real darts for half the price.
