Review on Braun SensorAir Air Purifier White by Benigno Reddy

Great machine - only small detection area

This machine was very easy to set up. You simply learn about the filters, remove the cover and tape, put the filters back in place, and you're good to go! It's not a dominant machine in terms of size, but it's definitely not tiny. He's just sitting next to our TV and scratching post. This is not a shelf size air purifier. You also need to make sure you have enough space so the unit isn't too close to a wall for airflow. Aesthetically I like the look of the device, I have the black version and it looks sleek and modern. The unit is very quiet when the air quality indicator is set to low, I don't even realize it's on. We use the automatic mode so that the device can automatically adjust the level depending on the current air quality, we leave it on 24/7 as suggested. The device is still quite quiet even at average volume. Due to the fact that we have two cats and a dog, we decided to place our device in the living room. My only criticism is that I'm disappointed due to the size and the cost that it's only meant for a 300 square foot room. Our house is very open, so we have a lot more of it, even if it hasn't switched to moderate mode often. Anyway, this only happens for a few seconds before it reverts to sleep mode. I really like that the filters are eco-friendly filters and not filters that need to be replaced monthly. The only filter that needs to be replaced is the activated carbon filter.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • sad packaging
