I thought I'd be honest, so maybe I can help anyone who is hypersensitive to toothpaste like me. So my dentist and I are trying to help me find something that doesn't irritate my mouth. I cannot use fluoride or sulfates and we find that 'Cocomidopropyl Betaine' in this toothpaste is also irritating to my mouth. Cocamidopropyl betaine shouldn't irritate mucous membranes or cause skin irritation, but unfortunately it does. ACDS named CAPB Allergen of the Year 2004 for your information. So if you have toothpaste sensitivities like me, be careful. It didn't cause much irritation like the others, but it would get worse over time with more frequent use. So far I've honestly used "Burt's Bees - Purely White Toothpaste, No Fluoride Zen Peppermint". It's not irritating, but I tried to find something that ended up being good for my teeth. I think I will continue to seek out and use Burt Bees. Hope this review helps! Many thanks to Nature Dentist for trying to make a good product. You must not use Cocamidopropyl Betaine in the future.
