I've been using the regular Bleach Soft Scrub for years and think it's great. I've never had a problem with it damaging a surface, although due to the 'abrasive' granules in the product I test it thoroughly on a small area before using it in a new application. (I mainly use it in the kitchen and bathrooms and sometimes in hard-to-reach places on the floor tiles). I chose the gel because it supposedly works just as well without the abrasive granules. It was a little more expensive than the regular Soft Scrub, but I thought it would be worth it if it could be used on a wider range of surfaces. I used it on my bathroom sink and even with a little extra cleaning it didn't do the job as well as the regular version. I'll find a way to use what I bought, but I won't buy it again. Very disappointed.
