UPDATED and increased star rating: They have been working on the crotch straps on my daughter's life jacket. Now that they are older and have transitioned from child to youth crotchless lifejackets, I have redesigned them for their intended use and placed them on the backs of snorkel masks from other manufacturers. Putting on and taking off snorkel masks for girls with long hair is now easier as the silicone strap easily gets tangled during this process. had two straps that ran from the back bottom of the life jacket to the bottom front of the life jacket. (Leg straps to keep life jacket/vest from floating over child's head.) We have been to several pools and water parks and found the leg strap to rub against our girl's inner thigh and it looks like it does burned a carpet there where the belt rubs against the upper hips. This neoprene belt sleeve was the only thing I could find to use the leg straps as a crotch so the belt doesn't rub against my thigh again. I bought two of these, installed but not tested yet. I'm sure it will at least lessen the effect of the carpet fading. If it gets fixed then it will be worth it. I could have bought them cheaper, but my local store didn't have a huge range of colors.
