Review on HONGUT Rechargeable Picture Light: Cordless Dartboard & Frame Light with Remote - 28 LEDs, 3 Lighting Modes, 360° Flexible Neck - Perfect Display Light for Art - Silver by Ron Kishore

It is designed to be attached to the FRONT of the painting.

Availability Seems to have been designed by someone who has only theoretical experience of hanging pictures. As the paintings tend to move along the wall, this is not a good place to place a lamp. This light has keyhole cutouts behind the light instead of in front like I would have preferred so I can mount the light behind the screen and cam the top. So I bought 4 small L-brackets from the hardware store and made 2 U-brackets behind the frame. After that, the lantern could be lowered into the brackets and easily removed. One more thing - the light is quite optimal for images about 24x36 in size:. My photos are 35 x 48 inches, which requires careful bending of the arc, which is wider to cover more of the image. Given that a typical lightweight image retails for $200-$300 (check it out), it was worth the extra effort.
