Review on 🏍️ PowerMotor Handguards for Motorcycle - Ultimate Off-Road Protection by Larry Allen

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Didn't fit well. I improvised.

They look good and seem to be of decent quality. The green goes well with my 2006 KLX300. The inserts at the end of the bar work well. But they didn't narrow the hole in the guard where it attaches to the end of the bar, so the taper bolt they give you doesn't have a recess, which seems like an oversight. The pan head screw would have looked better if they hadn't constricted it, but I'm going to use a large drill to give the screw some indentations. The inner mount didn't fit either. I think you could twist and bend the aluminum armguard on the inner end to make it a perfect fit. I think many will have this problem. This is because the inner brackets are one piece and cannot rotate in multiple directions. The easiest thing for me was to reuse the mounts from my old Tusk Guardians and just screw them on. But I could make it work if I had to. If you buy them from Amazon, you can try them on and return them if they don't fit your bike. In the end I am very happy with them.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • So far so good
