I decided to upgrade my son's old pedal fire truck for my grandson by adding this siren and light module. This is meant to be mounted on a bike to be honest, but I'm a grandpa with an airplane hangar full of gear so mods like this aren't difficult. The main unit is secured to the case with a single screw and (presumably) a union nut. Here's the rub: A young father who published a review complained that the nut was twisted and the toy was unusable. Well when I went to mount the block the nut was on the side and I couldn't put the bolt through the hole I made in the hood of the truck. The solution was to disassemble the case by removing one of the colored lenses. To do this, you need to unscrew two small screws (it's best to have a set of jeweler's screwdrivers). Once I had access to the nut, attaching it was easy. This is a well made toy for the price and looks like it came with a fire truck that is almost my 30 year old son's age. I particularly liked the wired control panel, which is easy to attach to the steering wheel. Now I'm just worried about grandma because THAT'S LOUD 😜
