KLR Airbox Mod: Soffit Vents
I was planning to go to higher altitudes for a multi-day trip, I wanted to bring more air as it will be quite thin. I found the 1" vents to be the best option to install in the top airbox, they fit the bill! Very good looking and well made, great color on it to complete the look and hide the face so they don't hang around. There are tabs on the insert to help keep them in place. So make sure you use the right size drill bit and don't make the hole too big.
