Review on Sennheiser HD 206 Closed-Back Over Ear Headphones - Discontinued Model by Michal Cedronski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is top notch, be sure to try it.

The level of quality offered at this pricing point really exceeded my expectations. Bass that is both juicy and clear. Excellent at insulating one from ambient noise. Although they appear to be rather little, they cover their ears entirely. Not very warm, making it suitable for extended use. They were taken for this purpose because of their relatively high volume when coupled with the sound card of a stationary computer. Prior to that, I had been using some quite pricey studio AKGs; hence, Sennheiser comes out on top in every category, with the exception of one. The only thing that may be considered a drawback is the wire, which, at the point where it attaches to the ears, has a very delicate and flimsy feeling; I can only hope that first impression is inaccurate. Even though I've run over the chair dozens of times and accidentally walked on the AKG wire, I still don't want to try out these headphones at all.

Pros
  • Excellent sound quality and a very pleasing bass. Silence the noise in the background. Although they appear to be quite little, they fit the ears well.
Cons
  • Although it has the appearance of a frail and flimsy wire and a peculiar design with a wire in both ears, in practice it does not impede hearing in any way.
