When I ordered this I was planning to replace the towel racks and other chrome fixtures in the master bathroom. I was looking for a coastal/beach view. Later I decided to stick with Chrom. Because this towel ring is industrial style [like a pipe connector] and black, I couldn't use it and had to return it. However, it's well made and affordable, but to make it work, if you want to keep the same decorating style throughout the room, consider replacing your other shelves with this industrial black style.
