UPDATED Overview:_______Guys, I found that the settings of the removable drives in my PC are wrong, so I had sluggish speed after reading the article If I changed the setting, I get gigabyte speed. **** Go to Device Manager > Disk Properties > Policies tab > Select Best Performance > You can enable/disable Enable Write Caching as per your need. up to 1 GBPS thanks OLD report _____ I used a SATA III drive here and got a write speed of 500kb/s. The same drive I used on a 10 year old USB2.0 SATA to USB converter achieved write speeds of 10MB/s to 35MB/s. I don't get it, this new gene is as lame as the very old one. I just can't accept it.
