Love that they don't have non-slip bumpers on the corners. I have granite slabs and this is important when working with super sharp knives. They are a good size and work great. I don't have any known brands to compare, but reviews tell me performance is basically the same. We used it to make all of our Thanksgiving meals and shred our prime ribs and it was amazing. I will update if anything changes, overall a great purchase.
