I bought this to carry my new JVC GY-HM600 camcorder. I bought it specifically for the padded shoulder strap and long length. As you can see from the photos, the belt came in a long, narrow plastic bag and arrived in perfect condition. Like many camera straps, it attaches to the camera by threading a thin section of the strap through the camera's ring and then through a small buckle to adjust both length and size. Make sure the strap doesn't slip. Aside from the small square plastic sliders that I couldn't reattach to the strap (they aren't needed unless they're clean), the strap seems securely attached to the camera. The quality of the nylon straps and plastic buckles matches the price. Thick strap attaches/detaches to narrower bottom strap at each end with push-push snap buckles. They seem strong enough to last for several years. The padding suits this admittedly lightweight camera and I can see that this strap will last a long time. PROS-Soft Shoulder-Good Quality-Easy Attachment-Security MINUS NEUTRAL-Small plastic sliders are too difficult to install but they are there just for tidiness and ultimately not needed CONCLUSION Pretty good harness for a pretty good price. Not the best camera strap ever sold but very good value for the price.
