Do not buy! good for bags and suitcases

When I bought this strap I liked it a lot for about 5 months. Then I went to Southeast Asia, this strap is hot, I mean really hot. It also absorbs sweat so it's always wet. Then last month in Las Vegas the belt broke. I was very lucky to catch the camera before it hit the ground. I have a Fujifilm XT-10 with a 16-50mm lens, battery and SD card and it only weighs 20 ounces. A 1.5 pound camera is light, most DSLRs are much heavier! I write to them, explaining the breakdown. Then say: Take a…

This strap puts your camera at risk!

I have an old version of this strap. That was great! The newer version of this strap slips off and risks dropping your expensive camera and lens onto the ground or into a lake. The old strap had thicker and wider webbing where it wrapped around the camera attachment point. The buckle of the old strap is shorter and thicker, combined with a thicker and wider strap. The new strap can easily detach, allowing the end of the webbing to come completely out of the buckle as it no longer wraps around…

First I liked it, now I don't like it

First impression: It's a nice, well-made, comfortable strap. However, there are two things that become apparent when using it: 1) The nylon straps that go through the buckles and adjust length etc are too small for the buckle, so the buckles cannot slide either side. and down. If you even hit them, the length changes, and 2) because of this, it's easy to miss when the strap gets too lost in the buckle and then. boom, your camera falls to the ground. It is possible to compound this issue by…

Non-slip strap that slips worse than any other strap I've had.

As a photographer with over 35 years experience I have used many straps. Years without a buckle movement. This strap has smooth webbing where it connects to the camera which makes the buckles very easy to slip off, although it is advertised as 'non-slip'. Not sure what the strap is referring to, but it's not the little straps that connect the camera. The buckles are also too big for the strapping material used. BAD design. BAD quality control. Luckily, I noticed the buckle slip out of my hands…

Overall a good strap but needs some work

I wear full size professional clothing (Canon 1D and L series glass) on this strap. The length is good, the quality of the materials is good. He's holding my camera. what else can i say 2 simple changes would make it a 5 star rating. 1. Reverse the latches that attach the camera mounts to the strap (M/F on one side, F/M on the other side) so that the two free joint ends can be joined together when the camera is removed from the strap becomes to form a short belt. 2. Actually use a piece of…

I've had this belt for a few years now and I'm very satisfied. I'm buying a second one to make up for one of my cons. Here are my cons: As with any lanyard, it wobbles if you don't keep your hand on the camera while walking or leaning. This fall, on a trip to New York, my camera hit the rails of a ferry and broke the filter. Filter ONLY. The second downside (female here) when I was with my hair down or now that I have short hair, the fabric is just itchy. Not comfortable. But again he found a…

  • I vaguely remember

Attention, do not buy this product. I received the item almost 90 days before I could use it. I recently used it on vacation. I used it once on my first day of vacation, and two hours after my new camera was attached to it, the strap literally broke - the stitching came undone and it was impossible to use. I had to wear the camera without a strap all week. This happened, I suspect, due to the fact that the tape is of poor quality. I wrote to the seller and asked for a refund. They told me they…

Very high quality strap, does its job well. Comfortable and secure

I bought this to carry my new JVC GY-HM600 camcorder. I bought it specifically for the padded shoulder strap and long length. As you can see from the photos, the belt came in a long, narrow plastic bag and arrived in perfect condition. Like many camera straps, it attaches to the camera by threading a thin section of the strap through the camera's ring and then through a small buckle to adjust both length and size. Make sure the strap doesn't slip. Aside from the small square plastic sliders…

Very comfortable, great quality at an amazing price

So. this strap is cheap. But I'm not talking about quality, I'm talking about price. This is the most comfortable neck strap I have ever used and only my strap was as comfortable. The soft part is well padded yet flexible and has an elasticated lining that's sewn on to keep it slightly "folded" to keep you comfortable. . The staples are well made, the connective tissue is well sewn. The ends of the straps (the part you insert into the camera loops) have been sealed well so they won't come loose

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • So far, so good
