(12/20/20) Wireless Bridge has stopped working. Won't connect at all. Can't put it in AP mode. The lights still work via the app but I can no longer control them with Alexa. Will contact support about this as a new bridge is $20! They were only installed six months ago. Would give them 5 stars but since it doesn't work as described they get 1. UPDATE (12/9/20): A few days after my first review (1 star and text above) I was contacted by the seller and they offered to to send me a new Smart Bridge. It arrived within a week. It took me over an hour to install the new bridge. MY LIGHTS ARE WORKING AS REQUIRED AGAIN! I upgraded it from 1 to 3 stars only because of the problems with the smart bridge. My house is about 80% automated. We have smart switches, plugs, lightbulbs, appliances, locks, a thermostat, etc. This wasn't user error. My initial review was less of a review and more of a complaint that the lighting was not working properly due to a malfunction. faulty intelligent bridge. Here's my review of the lights: I LOVE THESE LIGHTS! They are small and bright. I installed 6 floating shelves in my kitchen. I chose not to connect them to a smart switch because of the 'smart' bridge. I want to have in the end. I will explain later. I wanted complete control of these lights with our Echo plus in our kitchen. I grouped them with other appliances to create a different mood in our kitchen. They worked flawlessly the first time you installed them. I have recommended them to friends who bought, installed and never had the problem of a broken bridge. These lights change color and through the app they can dance to music or switch between different colors. I wanted cool light during the day and warm light in the evening. These do everything. The app is surprisingly well made for a typical cheaper smart tech option. I rarely use the app because my Echo gives me full control over everything (except dancing lights and such). I haven't used these lights to their fullest in about a month since I struggled to reconnect the smart bridge that ended. Fail. I could still turn the lights on and off and use all of the features through the app, but it's not a smart light. It's a light that the app uses as a remote control. I wrote the review above and as I said they contacted me immediately before I could find the time to contact them. Your customer service was top notch. If this new bridge lasts more than 6 months I would downgrade my rating to 4 stars. This was a 5 star product before I had problems with the bridge. Pros and Cons: Pros: - works great with Alexa - fun party modes with app - color change - temperature change - great app - easy install - bright light - dimmable - small and slim Cons: - wish they didn't need a smart bridge - smart bridge is cheap and ugly - configuring smart bridge is very time consuming if not working properly - remote is cheap
