Review on Under sink filter Atoll A-550m STD 1/2" white by Adam Szepietowski ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A good quality product, I rate this purchase perfectly.

Most likely, the pressure in the system will not be enough for effective cleaning, and the lower the pressure, the more difficult it is for water to pass through the membrane and the cleaning rate drops, the tank does not fill up to the end, plus a lot of water goes down the drain. Without a pump, I had a cleaning rate of 3 liters / hour, with a pump it became 17 liters / hour. I recommend a pump from the same manufacturer (atoll UP-7000/36V), with a bracket. It is easy to install, it works quietly, it makes noise only at the start for 1 second. The faucet included looks good, but I used a faucet with an extra clean water inlet to avoid having to drill into the sink. Unfortunately, the hose there was non-standard and I had to look for an adapter for 1/2 "(in household goods) and an adapter from 1/2" to the tube (I found a barrier in the filter store).

Pros
  • There is no more scum. A filter pitcher and a pitcher of clean water too. Filters with softening water for the coffee machine are no longer needed. But there is always clean water, just turn on the tap. Mineralization dropped from 225ppm to 35ppm (probably those 35ppm from the mineralizer).
Cons
  • Poorly fitted tube connections out of the box. At the first start there were splashes from several places at once. It is necessary to test everything before installation under the sink. The kit does not include a valve to protect against leaks, you need to buy it separately.
