They are much nicer than metal brackets with a screwdriver. You can maximize space by filling in gaps instead of a hard, straight line. If they are too small for a particular screwdriver (e.g. #3 Phillips, large slot, etc.) simply trim the mounting tabs around the center ring and you'll end up with a larger hole. I have OCD and need organization and this made my day perfect and fitted the bill perfectly. I can also highly recommend pen boxes.
