I've been using these knee pads daily at work for a few months and they do the job but are starting to fall apart. One of the rivets holding the outer shell to the nylon core has come loose. It's okay, but if more fails, these things will be useless. To be honest, I mostly crawl on the ceiling for a living, which is why I got rid of my knee pads. Also, the straps are a bit uncomfortable if worn for more than a few hours. Regardless, this is my first pair of hard knee pads and I can safely say I will NEVER switch to soft ones again. The rigid outer shell construction offers much better protection than any other knee pad I have ever owned.
