First the pros: 1. It seems to work! The neighbor's dog certainly hears it and is limited to one bark at a time once I start using it. I hope that I can still improve through consistent "learning".2. On / off switch. I love that it has an on/off switch to (hopefully) save battery life. Which leads me to a minus: 1. The battery compartment is rubbish. The positive and negative marks were mislabeled, so I turned the batteries back and forth several times. It's VERY difficult to get the batteries in the well without bending the damn springs. I feel like the device won't last long if I have to change batteries very often (and so does my patience).
