Batteries that came with the kit don't work so were replaced with new AAA batteries - the operation light didn't come on with either set of batteries - waste of money.

What more can I say... Made in China and a piece of junk. Couldn't get it to work. Trying to put batteries in is a feat because it's very poorly done. Probably worth $1.00 to make. DO NOT BUY!

I give this product four stars because it works well, too well. We bought this mainly because our 9 month old dog is a maniac and it helps him calm down and distract himself. This is extremely effective, but you MUST be nearby or it won't have any effect (8-10 feet). The problem is our 3 year old pitbull is TERRIBLE at the high pitched sound and it will startle her for more than 20 minutes after we use it so we got him to avoid that sound because it half shuts her scared to death.

Our 10 month old mini golddoodle is very smart but has had some behavioral issues. I contacted a trainer who wanted $700 a week for a two-week training camp. So I ordered this device instead. His problems were barking, biting and jumping. He also loves to dig. It only took one sonic shock and he's a brand new dog. No, he wasn't hurt in any way. It just kept him from bad behavior. Very good markers. Colors are vibrant and the 0.6mm thickness is good but not too thin. They're fairly smooth for writing and have the perfect amount of color to give you plenty of leeway, but not so much as to immobilize you.
