Read Jeff Thompson's review. He talks about installing cables and caulking the hole with silicone to make sure you don't have any leaks. It takes a bit of work, but once you set it up properly, it's really awesome. I also agree with the buyer who said that it pumps a lot of water on the lowest pump setting. I followed her advice and was happy. At the lowest level it pumps some water. The lighting is perfect, the sound of the water is amazing. I love it. Here are some tips: 1. Put it in a container in case it leaks.2. You can pour water from the front, so cover the bottom of the back hole with silicone as shown in the picture.3. The deepest point of the rear hole is about 3.5 inches from the ground. So if you pour water from the front, raise the water level so that the water just covers the LED in the bottom tank. It's about 3 inches off the bottom to keep it from overflowing and water spilling out the back. Use a water treatment designed to stop the growth of bacteria and mold. I use the for swamp coolers and humidifiers. As with the others, use the small rocks at the base of each waterfall to change the sound to your liking. I removed the black screen on the second level waterfall because I didn't like the way it looked. After taking it out I didn't notice any difference in splashing or water flow so I would recommend doing that. I want to thank Jeff Thompson again. I don't know you, but I am very grateful for your idea to stop the leak! I took the time to write my suggestions because Jeff took the time to write his. Overall I absolutely love this waterfall after taking the time to set it up properly and create a decorative base for it! It's so relaxing and calming. I'm so glad I got it.
