I bought this 3M 3MFF100 under sink water filtration system to use with a 3M MWF refrigerator filter and Watts WH-LD Premier for the whole house filtration system. My house was built in the mid 20th century so the pipes are galvanized which causes scale in our lines. I expect nothing less than high quality from 3M, so of course it was clean and safe tap water. This kit would be perfect if 3M added a base installation kit that would suffice for most under counter installations. Hell, pack a little extra, but it would make most of our lives easier than a few trips to the hardware store to figure out if this time will be your last trip. However, your installation video was very helpful and short. Here are the complete parts I used for my rig but YMMV: - Blue Monster PTFE Threaded Tape (I prefer it over regular white stuff) Adapter (Qty 2) - 3/8" Brass Swivel Nut (Qty 2) -3/8" Brass Pipe Bracket (2pcs) -3/8" Brass Ferrule (2pcs) -3/8" Brass Double Ended Compression Fitting (1pc) - Roll of 3/8" OD polyethylene tubing (5ft is enough) Please note that some of the above parts such as brass nut, pipe mount and ferrule are available in packs of 3. Just plan out what you want your setup to be so you only visit the hardware store once, please see Check out my pics for my setup I have a filter change reminder installed next to the node but I will most likely only replace based on the 3M recommended yearly interval.
