Review on 🔍 HTS 203E0 20x 21mm Chrome Triplet Jeweler's Loupe Set with Leather Case by Shantel Griffin

I bought this for my friend who is an aspiring geologist and was very disappointed. The lens is large (and heavy) but only offers a small field of view that actually focuses (less than half the lens diameter). To make matters worse, this lens can only be used when looking through from one side (the lens touches the mineral sample before you focus if you're trying to do it the other way around). I honestly have never seen such a bad manual lens. I will never buy this lens again. If you are looking for a good handheld lens (especially for geology) I would recommend paying a bit more and getting a Bausch & Lomb lens. They cost more, but if you plan on using them throughout your career, it's definitely worth the small investment.
