We got this for home use. We needed a wired camera system because we don't have very good internet. We needed a system that would notify us on our phones and we didn't need a monthly subscription. We only hooked it up 5 days ago so we still have a lot to learn but so far we're very impressed. I won't say the installation was easy, but it seems we managed it. Luckily the system seemed to get all the IP information as soon as we plugged in the ethernet cable as we don't know much about IP addresses! Once you download the app, scan the barcode with your phone from the display screen and it will connect you. After scanning this barcode I was able to see the video on my phone when I clicked on the app but it took me 4 days to figure out how to get push notifications on my phone to keep me informed of the traffic in to inform my house. Annke's website was much clearer to me than the brochure that came with it - I finally found out on her website why I wasn't getting push notifications and fixed the issue. I love push notifications! I was also really impressed with the ability to play with motion detection - a grid appears on the screen and you can remove areas from the image - in particular we had a tree line in one corner blowing in the wind and staying it was off. Therefore we were able to delete this section in the grid. The picture quality is excellent. We hooked it up to the TV. Day shots are very clear. I have to update this night vision review because I don't think we set it up correctly. One of the cameras has a good night picture, but one of them is only mostly black. We can say this is our backyard, but that's about it. But then again, this might be a setting that we need to tweak - we'll update the review after playing with it a little more. Haven't tried customer service yet so can't comment on this feature yet as we activated it over the weekend and it's available Monday through Friday. My main reason I bought this system was to be able to keep an eye on the house while I was at work during the day and for that it seems to work great.
