Trying to free up space in our small living room, my wife and I decided to install our 60 inch TV. I have several televisions installed; Most of them were fully articulated, and some were flush or sloped. My biggest disappointment was the design of the flush and sloped wall panels I've used in the past. It was two parts that had to be screwed together. I still don't fully understand why most wall panels are constructed this way. Maybe it's to make them "handier to carry around," or maybe it's to do with weight distribution. A two-piece design has a higher potential for a flawed end result in my experience. The bigger the TV, the smaller the margin of error. came across a crooked TV. The probability that the wall panel will not be at the same level increases when the two pieces are at the same level. tied to each other. I bought this bracket on purpose because the wall plate is in one piece. I'm very glad I did. The end result is a perfectly flat TV. Installation was easy. It took my wife and I less than half an hour to install the TV. Aside from the 10 minutes it took to reliably locate the studs (we have thick walls), this was a 20 minute operation. one thing though. Plan your installation in advance before placing your TV on the mount. Make sure all your devices are connected before hanging your TV on the wall. Tidy up the cables BEFORE hanging the TV on the wall. The back of the TV is functionally inaccessible when hanging on the wall. Also note that adding or removing devices will most likely require you to remove the TV from the mount.
