EASY TO USE for code readers and scan tools
Yes you can read for free at AutoZone but they do not reset the check engine light. I bought this out of frustration as I needed to replace the gas cap, but NOBODY would drop it for the check engine light to go out. It's so easy to use, just pop it under your dash and in seconds you'll have an error code and general description (see online for details). It is very easy to go through the OSD menu to reset it after the repair is complete. Small and compact, an indispensable helper in small car repairs. (Seriously, a 4-year-old can do it by replacing the gas cap. But then you'll have to restart your computer.) It's very easy to use.
