Among the best we've ever had!

We have (now) bought four sets of electric salt and pepper grinders. First of all for those who are wondering if this is a good idea. My first set was a gift and I just laughed at the ridiculous idea. Then came the corn season and the novelty quickly proved to be a must! One-handed work when turning corn on the cob! For reasons not worth detailing here, I have had three different styles of these pistons. My first pair looked like this and sadly didn't last as long before the derailleur had problems. I cleaned the contacts, changed the batteries, etc. but ended up throwing them away. The second set had a thin button on top, sorry but it looks like a pacifier. They work great but I don't care about the looks. The third pair weren't just straight top hats - they had a nice tapered body shape. But they were hardly enough. Well what to do - we have one working pair left - and two are a necessity! One for cooking, the other for the dining table. Here are the ones we bought. Love carrying - does not help to fall. Only time will tell how long they last. But for $20 a set, we can afford to swap them out every few years if the need arises. We hope not, but for now this is our new favorite set!

Pros
  • Salt and Pepper
Cons
  • Incredible piggy bank
