So far, so good. about safety signs and signals

Installed a mirror on a telephone pole today. Our utility company said I could do it, but didn't use screws or anything else that might cause damage. I ended up using tape and zip ties but it looks like it will hold up just fine. I would like it to be easier to mount to a pole than the standard bracket that comes with it, which uses screws. (Oh, by the way, the screws didn't come with the mirror.) Due to the way I installed it, it doesn't tilt as much as I'd like, but it's enough to get the job done take care of. As other reviews mentioned weather issues, I placed clear tape around the outside edges and back of the mirror to keep moisture out in the rain. I hope this helps protect the mirror from the weather. Anyway, I was standing roughly where I would be when the car passed the main road (while waiting to turn out of our lane onto the main road) and with the help of a mirror I was able to see the headlights of an oncoming car 100 up 200 feet earlier. I call it success. Seems to be a good mirror but I'm giving it 4 stars due to the difficult installation and limited installation options. (as well as the lack of screws or other hardware to install it) I had to purchase: Duct tape, zip ties and nuts and 1/4" screws for my installation. I think most people will just use screws (much easier). Many hardware stores have sizing charts, so my advice to make sure you get the right size is to mark the holes well on a piece of paper and take it with you.
