This is a great material. You can melt it in hot water or with a heat gun. It adheres very well to PVC but not to metal. You can shape it with your fingers and have a few minutes of working time after it melts, but it's cool enough not to burn your fingers while working. Once it cools it will solidify. When it's thin, it stays flexible. The thicker you make it, the stiffer the part will be. Think of it as a hand 3D print or putty that hardens like PVC on cooling. You can warm it up and reform it.
