I have a 2005 avalanche that faded in the sun. I did a little research and a few people on the Avalanche forum said that this stuff will turn the Avalanche black again and it will hold up to washing. I had my doubts, but ordered anyway. I washed my truck as directed, dried and applied in a cool place. It only took 1 application to make it look new again but I did 2 because I wanted it to last. Since then it has been washed again, it has rained a few times and it still looks like new. I have also used it on tires and they are great. I definitely recommend it. I get compliments on my Avalanche all the time. Someone even thought my Avalanche was newer than theirs, they have a 2007 and mine is a 2005. I shared this bullshit with them because the plastic was white from fading. He was glad I did. I know this stuff will work for him like it worked for me. Brilliant!
