Fantastic light! Ideal for cabinets (24w LED model, white/6000k)

Cabinet repair/upgrade: (24w led model, white version/6000k) Perfect replacement for a crappy one old and dull incandescent bulb left behind by previous owners : This LED light is really bright, almost like the sun (in theory the 6000K version gives almost pure white light). It works exceptionally well in cabinets, and the 24W version has the range and firepower you need to see things really clearly. It looks elegant and is very easy to install. It can also be used in any area where a good light source is needed and possibly combined with additional equipment and perhaps you can change the spectrum to soften the light for residential areas. The main benefit of using LED lights is that they generate significantly less heat. (therefore significantly safer for fire hazards), are very economical to run compared to most other types of lighting, and the profile width for these fixtures is less than 3 inches, which may be important to meet the 6 inch spacing requirement of the needs of some Building. Codes (e.g. the city of Los Angeles). Reading the reviews it seems that some people are confused about the installation and overcomplicate the requirements for standard ceilings replacing existing fixtures. So I decided to sketch this as the instructions, while simple, might not be clear to less experienced DIYers, so I hope this helps: you will need to drill etc though.) First of all it assumes you are replacing an existing one Light and connects to existing wiring - the box that powers the LED is included and there are plenty of videos on youtube showing how to connect new headlights to replace the old ones. (Note: if this is a new install requiring a light switch etc, there is also a video on this which is a much more complicated process). There is a long U-bolt that requires drilling two pilot holes. into the ceiling (the holes are on the longest central part). Decide where you want the light and mark the target holes to be drilled THROUGH the holes in the long part of the bracket on the ceiling (hold the bracket where you want it). Note: The bracket has two shorter "arms" that should be pointing down for ceiling mounting (or away from the wall so you can attach the light later). Drill two pilot holes with the targets marked, then use the two plastic anchors provided. , sliding each of them THROUGH the holes in the long part of the bracket and into the guide holes. DO NOT insert the anchors into the pilot holes first (they have a comb holding the bracket in place)! You may need a rubber mallet to gently tap the anchors while holding the brace in place. Make sure the anchors are fully seated (except for the tab, which is flush with the bracket), then screw into place. Once that's done, you can connect both the wiring and the light cover to complete the installation - it screws into the short arms of the mount through the small screw holes on the sides. (This can be awkward, you'll probably need a step stool so you can line up the holes in the lamp cover with the holes in the bracket at either end.) Then turn on your new 'sun' lol and relax and enjoy the sun". - this LED is AWESOME! 24W LED Super Bright Panel Wall Ceiling Lights, Panel Mount Surface, Round, White / 6000K, 86-265V Input, Office/Hotel/Kitchen/Bedroom/Bathroom Lighting, Aluminum [Energy Class A+]
