Review on 🚰 JW Pet Clean Water Silo Waterer - Bird Accessory for Ensuring Hygiene and Convenience (Tall Size, Colors Vary) by Christine Rogers

[modified below] I've read of a few other people using this for their rat cage instead of a regular tube and vial and my new kids will be living in my bedroom , the last thing I want is the noise they make. It's completely silent, easy to use, and although I was afraid my new kids wouldn't figure out how to use it, or even realize it's their water source (they were born in a shelter that used a conventional bottle arrangement) , I have not had to do this. My only complaint about it is that sometimes the seal doesn't fall off or fall off in time when you flip it, and I've emptied this thing onto the carpet a couple of times. I learned how to flip it over the sink and then put it in their cage (Critter Nation) ready to install. It drips a bit, but that's okay and not worth deducting a star. Not having to deal with the noisiest thing in most rodent cages is really exciting. As an added bonus (which I wasn't aware of when I bought it) the feeder can be removed from the holder for cleaning without unscrewing the holder from the cage. Great sauce. [Additional information as of 10/20/20:] I originally rated this product 5 stars, but after less than 2 months of use it started leaking due to an invisible crack next to the gutter. The crack is not visible, but the leak is definitely possible. Now I have to hurry to find a replacement. I don't know if other plastics would be better, but it's pretty ridiculous.
