Review on πŸ”Š Dali Oberon 1 Dark Walnut Bookshelf Speakers - Pair by Renee Foreman

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very smooth sounding speakers

I did not purchase these speakers from Revain. I have them in ash black and am writing this review after over 2 weeks of use. The build quality is excellent and they were well packaged. The reason I abandoned my previous Definitive Promonitor 1000 speaker setup was that the Deftech sounded bright to my ears and was better suited to movies. I wanted good, smooth sound for stereo and movies, so I went with the Dali Oberon1. As mentioned by Dali, they also sound straight out of the box before the 100-hour break and, with the Oberon vowel, are also suitable for films. I hung them on the wall, maybe if I didn't have a lack of space I would choose Oberon 3 for the fronts. Mids are very good and voices sound natural. You can keep listening to songs when the speakers just disappear. They also sound louder. I'm really very happy with them. Note that these Oberon 1s will need a subwoofer as you won't get deep bass from them given their size, but they sound good on their own when it comes to bass. These speakers aren't fussy about placement and don't need to be adjusted. The Dali support for inquiries is also very good.
